a place of info

You're like my very own
hot
waterbottle

So cozy soft and warm
don't
need to put on the kettle

And when you smile
The light shines for miles and miles and

Yeah

You're like my favourite purple
teddy bear

Warm from the microwave and
heating
everywhere

And when we laugh
together we can both be quite daft and

Yeah

You're like some dark delicious
chocolate cake

Get a taste for you
I can't
quite slake and

When we kiss
A tender fierceness there
That some call bliss and

Yeah

You're like the steady beat
beneath the song

I'll be the melody
we'll groove along and

When we fly
on painted velvet wings
it can be quite nice and

Yeah

You're like my very own
hot
waterbottle

I wrote this and gave it to Mike(y) for his 32nd birthday because I didn't want to go shopping and I had a line about him being like a hot waterbottle and my purple microwavable teddybear (it's full of wheat you see) stuck in my head. The song has been stuck in my head ever since, especially because the yeah goes on and on for bars and bars (Yeah is the entire chorus).
