a place of info

When the great peace began
I looked to the south and saw no sign of rain
Your touch
Was a tide of green velvet
And I was gently shipwrecked

When the great peace began
We followed the curve of the sun
And in the hips of the moon found our harbour

You exist in me
In a place that is still
And needs no speaking

When the great peace began
No trumpets shrieked a victory march
No pennant flew
And the laughing child was silent
The silence moved mouths to speak

Hush now carousing tongues
Be moved by the places of our hearts
