With WWOOFers Susanna and Belinda
Secondary Teachers from Hong Kong ... on 9 August we worked clearing a new garden and visited the ruined lighthouse and St Georges Basin and on 10 August we went to Wodi Wodi, Foxground to help Janet and Howard put a new net over their garden. ![]() ![]() We hurried along the path to the old lighthouse — late in the day. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a Banksia bush, recovering from fire ![]() The vegetation is recovering from fire a year and a half ago ![]() We hurried to Basin View, St Georges Basin in search of kangaroos... but instead found the end of sunset ![]() ![]() and the new moon to look up to! ![]() ![]() Next day, we went to Janet and Howard's place, Wodi Wodi to help put a new huge net over the food garden ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There was also time to relax... The ancient trees on the right are Dicksonia antarctica ![]() ![]() The Zieria granulata – a small bush with white flowers – is an endangered species found nowhere on the planet other than for a few kilometers around Foxground ![]() Return to index |
