ACOKE RURAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (ARDI) It is registered as non-profit rural development Community Based Organization under the laws of Uganda. ARDI contributes at the grassroots to the popularization of the UN World Programme of Action for war affected Youth to the Year 2000 and Beyond — to address more effectively the problems of young men and women and to increase opportunities for their participation in community. It has its offices in Olando, Anai community. Vision The organization envisions young people affected by war taking the lead role in youth development locally and internationally to rebuild hope. Mission To challenge young people and mothers to be continuously aware and active and provision of diversified services that is youth productive to set new hope. Management The organization is run by an Advisory Board of five (5) persons that meet quarterly. The secretariat is run by a Chief Executive Officer who is answerable to the board. Values/Principles To be able to realize its goals and objectives the organization affirms to the following values & principles:
Target audiences The organization specifically targets vulnerable children, youth, mothers between the ages of 12 -35 both gender. Policy makers, parents, teachers and the community. |
