Coffin Bay National Park

Whereas Lincoln National Park sits on the more protected eastern tip of the Eyre Peninsula, Coffin Bay National Park is on the western tip facing the full force of the Southern Ocean — and its cleanness and fresh air.

This public beach (Long Beach) in the village, just outside the park, is a lovely spot and shows some of the complexity of Coffin Bay

The park itself is vast and for the first time, as we were to see more of on this west coast of the Eyre Peninsula, we saw great dunes, first in the distance.
